Winter in the Rockies and Northern Lights

15 Day Luxury Tour with APT from Vancouver to Yellowknife

From AU$10,975*
per person, twin share

Enjoy winter in the Rockies and see mountains under a dusting of icing sugar snow. Stay in luxury accommodation, selected for their location and comfort, like the historic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise where you’ll enjoy two nights in a Lakeview Room.

Travel to the Northwest Territories, known as the Auroral Oval where the northern lights have prime place in the sky. One of the best things about Yellowknife is its location: at 68 degrees magnetic north, it’s one of the world’s sweet spots for witnessing the aurora borealis or Northern Lights, thanks to clear winter weather, limited light pollution, its latitude and the relatively flat topography. Over three consecutive nights in or near Yellowknife, you’ll have a 95 per cent chance of seeing the Northern Lights. And the deeper into winter it is, the higher the likelihood.
