Make sure you visit Kauai’s beautiful natural attractions – most can be explored via hiking, driving or boating.  Waimea Canyon State Park encompasses both the canyon itself and the surrounding highlands, while Nā Pali Coast State Park sweeps along the island’s north shore.  The Wailua Falls plunge almost 140 feet, and are easily accessible by car, while Menehune Fishpond Alekoko is a picturesque lake that looks particularly gorgeous at dawn and dusk.  The Maniniholo Cave, Hanapepe Swinging Bridge and lovely Maliuhi Road tree tunnel are also all great choices.
