The small town of Onjuku has everything you need to escape from city life — breathtaking views, out-of-city serenity, delicious local seafood, and an amazing beach. Onjuku beach is a popular family beach in Chiba famous for surfing and fishing. There’s also a small waterpark open for 6 weeks during the summer season. Onjuku is extremely unique as a rare amalgamation of Mexican and Japanese cultures. In 1609 a Spanish galleon named the San Francisco ran ashore near Onjuku and the surviving crew and captain were cared for by the Japanese women of the town. Temperate maritime climate, with short, cool winters and hot, humid summers. The annual mean temperature is 15°C, with an average maximum of 26°C in summer & an average minimum of 6°C in winter.
IMPORTANT: All rooms have private bathrooms and some rooms have western style beds. Public bath is an indoor onsen (mineral hot spring). Clothing, swimwear or display of tattoos are not permitted in onsens.

- Must advise if arriving and checking-in after 6:00pm, reception closes at 8:00pm. After hours check in available with prior notice, please contact resort directly to arrange.
Mandatory SRC Surcharge (can be paid by cash or credit card):
- JPY 1,000 per adult & JPY 500 per child (6 – 12 years old) per night for the 1st & 2nd night
- JPY 700 per adult & JPY 350 per child (6 – 12 years old) per night from the 3rd night onwards
