Resort Report – Airlie Beach Apartment Announcement

We are very excited to announce that additional apartments are being made available at Club Wyndham Airlie Beach Whitsundays on a temporary basis for Club Wyndham South Pacific owners to utilise with their vacation credits.

The arrangement will enable owners to reserve stays between November 1, 2021 and October 31, 2022 in 30 apartments at Club Wyndham Airlie Beach Whitsundays.

This will provide more than 10,000 room nights to assist with demand on local inventory, and follows last week’s announcement about a similar temporary arrangement for 28 villas at Club Wyndham Flynns Beach and one apartment at Club Wyndham Coffs Harbour.

The apartments at Airlie Beach are in the following categories:

• 1 x 1-bedroom
• 7 x 1-bedroom Deluxe
• 1 x 2-bedroom
• 11 x 2-bedroom Deluxe
• 7 x 2 bedroom Grand
• 3 x 3-bedroom Deluxe

The 2-bedroom Grand is a new apartment type at this resort and its credit chart is in the process of being finalised. This chart will appear on the resort’s page on the club website before the apartments are available to be booked.

These apartments have been earmarked to be transferred to the club in the long-term but are not being permanently transferred at this time. Please note that the credit charts have been prepared for this temporary program and may change when the properties are transferred into the club.

Owners will be able to book these apartments from 9am on Wednesday, 13 October. The new inventory will be offered first to owners who have already Waitlisted for these room types at this resort. There may also be a short online booking delay as the categories are temporarily taken offline to upload the new inventory.

We anticipate these apartments will provide additional opportunity for Club Wyndham South Pacific owners to explore the Whitsundays and enjoy what has proven to be one of the club’s most popular resorts during this COVID-19 period.

These apartments are available by way of an agreement between the Responsible Entity, Wyndham Vacation Clubs South Pacific, and the Developer, Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific.
