Following an announcement yesterday from the Victorian Government, we have no alternative but to close all Club resorts in Victoria and make some changes to our COVID-19 cancellation policy.
VICTORIAN RESTRICTIONS
Yesterday, the Victorian Premier, Daniel Andrews, announced the introduction of a six-week Stage 4 lockdown in Metropolitan Melbourne and Stage 3 restrictions in regional Victoria for six weeks.
You can read full details of this announcement at Victorian Department of Health and Human Services website.
In light of those restrictions, we are closing all our properties in Victoria from Wednesday – Club Wyndham Ballarat, Club Wyndham Dinner Plain, Club Wyndham Torquay, Club Wyndham Lakes Entrance and Ramada Resort by Wyndham Phillip Island – in line with government restrictions. In accordance with the restrictions, all owners and guests staying at those resorts are asked to arrange check-out by Wednesday. Club Wyndham Melbourne is already closed. All Victoria resorts will remain closed until at least Sunday, September 13. Actual re-opening dates will depend on government restrictions.
Our Owner Services team is systematically working through the reservations scheduled in that time frame. If you have a reservation at one of those resorts during that period, you will receive an email advising of the cancellation of your upcoming reservation. Your credits used in those bookings will be returned or, if the credits have expired, a voucher will be issued within 14 days for future use. There is no need for you to call.
Given the restrictions, residents of Victoria will also be unable to travel outside the state during that period. Our Owner Services team will isolate reservations before Wednesday, September 16, made by owners with a residential address in Victoria and send a text message to confirm the cancellation of any bookings. If this applies to you, please confirm the cancellation and your credits will be returned or, if the credits have expired, a voucher will be issued within 14 days for future use. There is no need to call unless you are not currently residing in Victoria and wish to retain your reservation.
On behalf of our club teams, our thoughts are with residents of Victoria at this time. It is unfortunate that we have had to close properties again but we hope you are staying stay safe and well.

TASMANIA
Tasmania has decided to keep border restrictions in place until at least the end of this month, after previously flagging that it may ease restrictions after August 7. Our Owner Services team will systematically work through the interstate reservations at Club Wyndham Seven Mile Beach this month. You will receive an email advising of the cancellation and your credits used in those bookings will be returned or, if the credits have expired, a voucher will be issued within 14 days for future use. There is no need for you to call.
CLUB WYNDHAM DENARAU ISLAND
Club Wyndham Denarau Island will remain closed for September. Owner Services will cancel all reservations beginning in and during September and the credits used in those bookings will be returned or, if they have expired, a voucher will be issued within 14 days for future use. There is no need for you to call.
We had previously closed Club Wyndham Denarau Island for new bookings until October but kept existing bookings for September.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Our cancellation policy has been updated. The policy for travel within your country has been extended until September 30 and the policy for international travel has been extended until October 31.

Thank you for your patience and understanding and we hope these restrictions will be lifted in the very near future.
