NEW COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS ANNOUNCED IN NEW ZEALAND
Late yesterday, the New Zealand government announced the re-introduction of travel restrictions after the discovery of new COVID-19 cases. Level three restrictions have been introduced in Auckland, which effectively require people to stay inside their bubble for the next three days and limit inter-regional travel.
The rest of the country is on level two restrictions, which still permit domestic travel. You can see the full government announcement here.
At this point, both Club Wyndham South Pacific properties in New Zealand will continue to operate. After their June re-opening, both properties rolled out improved hygiene standards and social distancing protocols in line with COVID-19 best practice. These are still in place.
Our Owner Services team will systematically work through reservations due to begin today, tomorrow or Friday at the club’s New Zealand properties that were made by owners with a residential address in Auckland. If this applies to you, our Owner Services team will be in touch to confirm the cancellation and your credits will be returned or, if the credits have expired, a voucher will be issued within 14 days for future use. There is no need for you to call unless you are not currently residing in Auckland and are yet to update your address.
We are being guided by advice from the New Zealand government and our policy will be reviewed when the government provides further updates in three days’ time.
