COVID-19 outbreaks in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland have triggered the reintroduction of restrictions in those states and some border restrictions in other states.

 

As usual, we would recommend that, if you are travelling, you keep up-to-date with restrictions in your home state and your destination. You can check the latest domestic situation at the Australian Government COVID-19 Restriction Checker or New Zealand’s are at the Unite Against COVID-19 page.

 

STATE COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS

Overnight, the Victorian Government announced a five-day lockdown so we have amended our COVID-19 cancellation policy accordingly.

 

The following groups will receive an invitation to cancel from Owner Services:

  • Owners based in Victoria with reservations in any club resort, due to check-in on or before July 20
  • Owners based in Victoria with reservations interstate or in New Zealand, due to check-in on or before July 31 (this does not include Victorians with reservations in Victoria between July 21 and 31)
  • All owners travelling into Victoria from elsewhere, due to check-in on or before July 31

 

If any of these invitations to cancel applies to you, please confirm the cancellation using the message that the Owner Services team will send you.

 

HOTSPOTS

If you do not receive a message and your travel plans are affected because you live in a different hotspot or visited one during one of the periods outlined by health authorities, please contact Owner Services.

 

Under the policy, Owner Services can waive cancellation penalties on a case-by-case basis in these circumstances. This is also the case if new restrictions are announced and we have not yet had the chance to issue an official update.

 

If the cancellation policy is applied in any of the above circumstances, the team will return your credits to your account or, if they have expired, issue a voucher within 14 days for future use.

 

Please be aware that it is up to you to ensure that a booking is cancelled. If you do not receive a text message or a cancellation confirmation email, your reservation still remains confirmed.
