The Queensland Government has today announced it will extend the snap three-day lockdown which began on the weekend, in order to prevent a COVID-19 cluster from spreading any further.

STATE COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
Queensland has extended its lockdown in the 11 council regions making up South East Queensland until 4pm on Sunday, August 8. As a result, Owner Services will send the following groups an invitation to cancel their reservations:
During the weekend, the Owner Services team contacted affected owners who had reservations with check-in dates on or before tomorrow, August 3, and invited them to cancel.
If any of these invitations to cancel applies to you, please confirm the cancellation using the message that the Owner Services team will send you. The Owner Services call centre has experienced a huge increase in calls during the last two lockdown announcements, but I would like to reassure you that if all you want to do is cancel, there is no need to call in – you can confirm using the text message.
Our teams are remaining up-to-date with the latest developments and are making decisions to adjust the policy as necessary.
HOTSPOTS
Most states have a hotspot system which identifies places with travel restrictions. If your destination has declared your area of residence a hotspot or you have travelled through one and you are concerned it might affect your reservation, please contact Owner Services:

In the above cases, where the COVID-19 cancellation policy is applied, the team will return your credits to your account or, if they have expired, issue a voucher within 14 days for future use.
Please remember that it is up to you to ensure your reservation is cancelled. If you do not receive a text message or a cancellation confirmation email, your reservation still remains confirmed.
