It is pleasing to see enthusiasm about travel rising in the last few days after some travel restrictions eased and governments began to update their COVID-19 roadmaps.

Before travelling, we encourage you to check the latest restrictions at the Australian Government’s COVID-19 Restriction Checker and New Zealand’s Unite Against COVID-19 page.

CANCELLATION POLICY UPDATE
The Queensland Government projected that vaccinated travellers, even from hotspots, would be able to travel quarantine-free to the state from December 17. The Victorian Government also recently advised there will be no travel between regional parts of the state and Melbourne at this point.

Our Owner Services team is offering an invitation to cancel to:

  • Owners based in New South Wales or Victoria with a reservation with check-in at a Queensland property on or before December 16
  • Owners based in Victoria with an interstate or international reservation due to check-in on or before November 19
  • Owners based in regional Victoria with a reservation at Club Wyndham Melbourne with a check-in date on or before November 5
  • Owners based in Melbourne with a check-in date at a regional Victorian property on or before November 5
  • Owners based outside Victoria who have a reservation in Victoria with a check-in date on or before November 5
  • Owners based in Auckland who have a reservation with a check-in date on or before November 1.

Please be aware that, in New South Wales, there are some government restrictions on how far you can travel if you are not fully vaccinated. You may therefore be asked about your vaccination status upon arrival at the resort and at tourist attractions, restaurants, bars, cafes and other establishments. Leisure Inn, which manages Club Wyndham Pokolbin Hill, presently has a policy that it will not accept guests (including owners) who cannot present evidence of vaccination. Please take this into consideration before making a booking.

If the COVID-19 cancellation policy is applied in response to any of the above conditions, the team will return your credits to your account. Where your credits are expired, they will be subject to a new travel by date.

Please be aware that it is up to you to ensure your reservation is cancelled. If you do not receive a text message or a cancellation confirmation email, your reservation is still confirmed.
