Hi all,
Welcome to my first blog update where I will share with you how our teams have been working to maintain and improve the condition of your club resorts, ready for your return.
As highlighted in my video last week, since the travel restrictions have been imposed, our property development and resort teams have been busy completing refurbishment projects, deep cleaning and planning new and exciting spaces.
A renovated reception area is waiting for you next time you visit Club Wyndham Dinner Plain.
The new space is inspired by Victoria’s natural surroundings. We used rich Australian timber and locally sourced materials, including new stonework, reminiscent of the high country huts the region is renowned for.
Our team also refurbished the external seating and entrance areas, and access to the car park has been improved. A new external fire pit and pathways with underfloor heating have been installed as well.

Last year, we announced our plans to expand Club Wyndham Flynns Beach, and while you are away, our project and resort teams are hard at work completing the project – while following social distancing protocols.
The expansion aims to provide more high quality accommodation in a favourite club resort. We are building 52 one, two, three and four-bedroom villas with a mix of deluxe, grand and presidential suites.
Your Grand Suite villas will feature queen and twin beds and a barbecue on deck, while Presidential Suite villas will include a walk-in closet, private deck from the master’s bedroom, outdoor bar and outdoor shower.
This project is slated to be finished in September.
Here’s a sneak peek of your new two-bedroom deluxe villa. Please keep in mind – there is still work to be done before they join the club later in the year!
At the time of writing we are discussing which club resorts will be refurbished next. Given the current restrictions on movement, our decisions will be based on how feasible it is to transport materials and manpower to the chosen site.

The team at Club Wyndham Seven Mile Beach is excited to share a sneak peak of a hobby farm being built onsite, which will be home to a chicken coop and a small flock of sheep and alpaca.
The resort’s maintenance team has started digging holes for fences to set up the enclosure on about two acres near the children’s playground. It is expected to be finished in two months.
In the spirit of Club Wyndham Seven Mile Beach, the hobby farm will be an eco-friendly tourist attraction for you and resort guests. When completed, it will allow you and your kids to sign up for farm tours, where you can feed the animals and take photos.

One of our major focuses is to ensure that your club resorts maintain the highest possible standards of cleanliness. During the lockdown period, our resort teams are hard at work cleaning your rooms to the highest standard.
Here are some of the best images of our teams, showing just some of the work they are carrying out: adjusting pool PH levels, washing, bathroom repairs and clearing debris offsite. The first four images are of our Club Wyndham Denarau Island team applying fresh coats of paint to some of your rooms.

We are excited to welcome you soon back to your club resorts. When travel restrictions are lifted, we will announce when your resorts will be able to reopen.
Next week, we will break down a deep clean in more detail, give you a refurbishment update at Ramada Resort by Wyndham Phillip Island and some more exciting initiatives.
Please believe me when I say our teams cannot wait to welcome you back…
